Ordering

Go to our shop or subscription page to view the product details. If you are ordering once, click on “one-time purchase” for all of your desired items.Or, if you wish to receive a regular scheduled delivery for that product and/or other products click on “subscribe” for which you will receive a 5% discount. Once at the checkout (if you haven’t already done so) you will need to register your account details including delivery address, billing and payment information. If you are subscribing please choose how often you would like the delivery to be made, bi-weekly, weekly or monthly.
Check your email. After you place an order, you will immediately receive a copy of your receipt. The day your order ships, you will receive a shipment alert with a tracking number. You will be able to click on the link to see exactly where your order is. If this is a gift, you will be notified via email when your package is received. Did not receive an email? Verify your correct email and check your spam.
Absolutely! We believe the best gift is the gift of seafood. To send to a friend, simply check the box for “This is a gift order” during checkout, add a custom Gift Message in the field that appears below, and use their address for Shipping. Checking this box ensures that no pricing will appear on the packing slip, only your note.
When you vist the My Account page you can edit your email address and password under “account details”. You can also click on “orders” to check previous orders and to re-order the same again. If you wish to update you card payment information you may do so here as well under “payment information”.

Packaging

We prepare and pack your seafood order the day it ships to ensure maximum freshness and quality. All products are picked fresh and packed carefully in a reusable, insulated cool box containing plenty of food grade frozen gel packs for optimal temperatures in transit.
An outer double skinned corrugated box further protects your products from heat and vibration.

The individual portions or packs within the cooler are vacuum-packed and chilled (with the exception of “Hiramasa” Kingfish and Southern Blue-Fin Tuna, which are both cryogenically flash frozen).

Live Oysters and Lobstersare “seasoned” in our cold seawater holding tanks for a few days to adjust them to a cool shipping temperature andpacked using seawater-soaked paper to ensure moisture levels are maintained and to provide cushioning for the lobsters. Oysters are packed in specially designed wooden boxes to keep them together and upright.

Delivery

We deliver to the Bangkok metropolitan area same day with La La Move and to all major cities in Thailand overnight via Kerry Logistics. All packages must be delivered to a physical address. No PO Boxes please. Be sure all addresses are correct and include the recipient’s daytime phone number.
Monday to Saturday for all areas including Bangkok and provinces. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am – 12:00pm. Saturday delivery is not available after 12:00pm Saturday.

How should I store my seafood?

Our Atlantic Salmon and Ocean Trout are chilled, vacuum packed and have never been frozen. These fish can be kept in the cooler (lower part) of your refrigerator for up to 3 days before consuming or freezing.

Both the Southern luefin Tuna and the Hiramasa Kingfish have been cryogenically flash frozen – a process which retains the “just caught” taste, texture, smell and appearance of the fish. These fish can be stored in your freezer for months. Thaw them in their unopened packages in the refrigerator for 12-15 hours, they will keep for up to 1 week in a refrigerator within their original vacuum packs, or once opened for 3 days refrigerated in an airtight container or zip lock bag.

The Oysters can keep for up to 5-7 days in their original box in your refrigerator. Each day you keep them place a fresh damp cloth or tea towel over the top of them to allow moist airflow. If opened before consuming, lightly tap them on their upper shell to see if they automatically close. If them don’t they have died and you should discard them.
Our Blue Mussels arrive in their own specially designed “Sea Sure” packaging. This enables them to remain alive in your refrigerator for 1 week before cooking or freezing.
Once you have your live Lobsters it is best to cook and eat them the same day. If that is not suitable, keep them in the coolest part of your fridge in an closed container large enough to hold them, and cover them with the damp paper packaging that they came with to allow moist air flow (the moist paper contains the saltwater that they need). Cook them the next day, if keeping longer you may freeze them and thaw another time. If you want to put them to sleep before cooking them, put them in the freezer for 20 mins, no longer.
Our smoked Atlantic Salmon and Ocean Trout are vacuum sealed and cured. As such they only need to be kept in the refrigerator unopened and will keep for 14 days. Once opened consume within 3 days.

Replacements

We want you to be completely satisfied with the quality of our 39°S products. If you receive products that are materially damaged or have other substantive problems, we will replace your products free of charge. To request a replacement, please contact us at support@39degreesouth.com with details within 7 days of receipt of products. If it is conveniently possible to photograph the problem and attach a photo to your email, we would appreciate it. This is not a requirement but will help our QC department in dealing with packaging or shipping issues. A replacement will be shipped using the same shipping option as the original order.
We are unable to accept returns on our perishable goods, so please do not send your purchase back to us.

Subscriptions

In addition to one-time purchases, we provide routine delivery bi-weekly, weekly, or monthly. All you’ve got to do is make your selection, click “Subscribe,” and tell us how often you’d like it delivered in the checkout process.

All account information is available in My Account. Here, you’ll have the option to review your order summary, previous purchases, and subscriptions. You’ll also be able to update your payment method, delivery address, or cancel an order.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time without any related fees, charges, or additional payments. Please email support@39degreesouth.com with your subscription number, and we’ll take care of it right away!
