Ordering

Go to our shop or subscription page to view the product details. If you are ordering once, click on “one-time purchase” for all of your desired items. Or, if you wish to receive a regular scheduled delivery for that product and/or other products click on “subscribe” for which you will receive a 5% discount. Once at the checkout (if you haven’t already done so) you will need to register your account details including delivery address, billing and payment information. If you are subscribing please choose how often you would like the delivery to be made, bi-weekly, weekly or monthly. Subscriptions available soon.

Same day Delivery

For delivery to addresses within the Bangkok metropolitan area (approx. 35km radius from Asoke junction) orders need to be placed by 6:30 pm for same day delivery. Depending on your location deliveries will arrive 30 mins –  2 hours after being placed. Once the order has been picked up by the courier, you will receive an SMS to your mobile number to notify you that your delivery is on it’s way.  We accept & deliver orders until 3:00 pm on Sundays.

For outer Bangkok addresses beyond 35km from Asoke junction, orders will be delivered the following day. Please see “Provincial deliveries” below.

Provincial Deliveries – overnight by DHL

All deliveries to provincial addresses must be placed by 1:30pm for delivery to you between 8:30 am – 8:00 pm the following day(except Saturday deliveries – please see below). We do not process or deliver provincial orders on Sundays. To receive your goods on Saturday please place your order no later than 4:00 pm on Friday. You will be able to track your order via the DHL website once you receive an emailed tracking code from us by 6:00 pm the day your order was dispatched.

Tracking is only available for provincial deliveries. Check your email. After you place an order, you will immediately receive a copy of your receipt. Between 5 – 6 pm on the day your order ships, you will receive a shipment alert with a tracking number. You can use this on the DHL tracking page or follow this link:

When you visit the My Account page you can edit your email address and password under “account details”. You can also click on “orders” to check previous orders and to re-order the same again.

Packaging

We prepare and pack your seafood order the day it ships to ensure maximum freshness and quality. All products are picked fresh and packed carefully in a reusable, insulated cool box containing plenty of food grade frozen gel packs for optimal temperatures in transit. The seafood is further wrapped in a specially designed insulating blanket that keeps it at optimum temperature. 
An outer double skinned corrugated box further protects your products from heat and vibration.

The individual portions or packs within the cooler are vacuum-packed and chilled (with the exception of “Hiramasa” Kingfish and Southern Blue-Fin Tuna, which are both cryogenically flash frozen).

Live Oysters and Lobsters are “seasoned” in our cold seawater holding tanks for a few days to adjust them to a cool shipping temperature and packed using seawater-soaked paper to ensure salt-water moisture levels are maintained and to protect the products from moving around too much en-route. Oysters are packed in useful re-useable hessian bags to keep them together and moist.

Delivery

We deliver to the Bangkok metropolitan area same day with La La Move and to all major cities in Thailand overnight via Kerry Logistics. All packages must be delivered to a physical address. No PO Boxes please. Be sure all addresses are correct and include the recipient’s daytime phone number.

Monday to Saturday for all areas including Bangkok and provinces. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am – 12:00pm. Saturday’s delivery is not available after 12:00pm Saturday.

Delivery charges are 250 Baht to all locations. All orders over 5,000 Baht are delivered free of charge.

How should I store my seafood?

Both of these incredible fish – Southern Bluefin Tuna and Hiramasa Yellowtail Kingfish have been cryogenically treated withing their packaging, in a cutting-edge process which freezes the fish to -95°C in approx. 18 minutes, (14 times faster than conventional freezing!) This process retains the “just caught” taste, texture, smell and appearance of the fish, and we guarantee you will be amazed at the freshness – indistinguishable from just caught! These fish can be stored in your freezer for up to 12 months. Thaw them in their unopened packages in the refrigerator for 12-16 hours and they are ready to eat, sashimi grade raw or cooked. Chilled, they will keep for up to 1 week in a refrigerator within their original vacuum packs, or once opened for 3 days refrigerated in an airtight container or zip lock bag. Truly amazing fish available from nowhere else in Thailand!

Once you have your live Lobsters it is best to cook and eat them the same day. If that is not suitable, keep them in the coolest part of your fridge in an closed container large enough to hold them, and cover them with the damp paper packaging that they came with to allow moist air flow (the moist paper contains the saltwater that they need). Cook them the next day, if keeping longer you may freeze them and thaw another time. If you want to put them to sleep before cooking them, put them in the freezer for 35 mins. Not much longer or they will start to freeze.

Our Atlantic Salmon and Ocean Trout are chilled, vacuum packed and have never been frozen. These fish can be kept in the cooler (lower part) of your refrigerator for up to 3 days before consuming or freezing.

The Oysters can keep for up to 5-7 days in their original bag in your refrigerator. Each day you keep them place a fresh damp cloth or tea towel over the top of them to allow moist airflow. If opened before consuming, lightly tap them on their upper shell to see if they automatically close. If they don’t, they have died, and you should discard them.

Our Blue Mussels arrive in their own specially designed “Sea Sure” packaging. This enables them to remain alive in your refrigerator for 1 week before cooking or freezing.

Our smoked Atlantic Salmon and Ocean Trout are vacuum sealed and cured. As such they only need to be kept in the refrigerator unopened and will keep for 14 days. Once opened consume within 3 days.

Cancellations

You may only cancel your order if it has not been dispatched. Please contact us before your order has been sent by email to support@39degreesouth.com and a phone call to 02 258 4239 to request the cancelation. Once an order has been dispatched and is on its way to you, cancelations are not possible.

Replacements

We want you to be completely satisfied with the quality of our 39°S products. If you receive products that are materially damaged or have other substantive problems, we will replace your products free of charge. To request a replacement, please contact us at support@39degreesouth.com with details within 1 day of receipt of your products. Please photograph the problem and attach a photo to your email. we would appreciate it. This will help our QC department in dealing with packaging or shipping issues. A replacement will be shipped using the same shipping option as the original order.
We are unable to accept returns on our perishable goods, so please do not send your purchase back to us.

If you are not satisfied with your delivery due to receiving goods in poor condition as stated, we will replace the product/s in question as described in our return/replacement policy. If you prefer to receive a refund, please send an email to support@39degreesouth.com with clear photos of the defect/problem and once verified we shall process your refund. 

In order to provide you with the best service & these excellent products we require certain personal information from you. Your delivery address, billing address, contact email and phone number are all required in order to deliver the products to you. In case of delays or unexpected delivery issues we require your number so that we may contact you quicky in order to best resolve the delay. This data is kept so long as you are a customer of 39 degrees South and is kept secure and confidential, we do not share this information with any other organization or entity. If your account has been inactive for 2 years, we delete this information. You may update your personal data within your account profile on our website at any time.

Subscriptions

In addition to one-time purchases, we provide routine delivery bi-weekly, weekly, or monthly. All you’ve got to do is make your selection, click “Subscribe,” and tell us how often you’d like it delivered in the checkout process.

All account information is available in My Account. Here, you’ll have the option to review your order summary, previous purchases, and subscriptions. You’ll also be able to update your payment method, delivery address, or cancel an order.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time without any related fees, charges, or additional payments. Please email support@39degreesouth.com with your subscription number, and we’ll take care of it right away!
